On Friday 6th November Mrs Chapman and Mrs Thomas took 15 girls on a Cheerleading weekend to PGL Marchant’s Hill in Surrey. The weekend was based around the students learning how to do a variety of cheerleading motions, stunts and lifts. Along with other schools they then performed the final piece on the Sunday afternoon. In addition to the cheerleading the students also tried climbing and power fan ( a free fall activity). The evenings were taken up with watching fireworks, singing songs around a campfire and a disco. All the girls have come back very enthused about cheerleading and will be helping with cheerleading club that is due to start on Wednesday 25th November.
